Welcome!

Being able to find accurate information about disaster management, first aid and critical incident stress can be challenging in today's society. This resource network website was designed to provide you with access to valuable and creditable information from a variety of professional organizations.

Training Services

A number of services are provided to potential clients who are looking to expand their current knowledge on any of our three major topics. Many of our programs are provided in conjunction with other professional organizations, such as the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Programs are offered in a number of different delivery methods, and all programs can be customized to meet the needs of your organization.

Critical Incident Stress

Understanding critical incident stress (CIS) and its normal effects are crucial to responder health. This section provides a brief outlook on the five different types of normal reactions, as well as what to do before, during and after a critical incident.

Links / Resources

Why re-invent the wheel? During my educational research phase, I was able to locate the work of some highly respected professionals in their respective areas of study. Instead of translating their work into my own words, I have complied direct links to their websites, therefore enabling you interpret their information individually. My goal is not to paraphrase the hard work of professionals, but to make their work available to you.

First Responders Charitable Society

Created in 2002, the First Responders Charitable Society’s original mandate was to provide support and guidance to first responders, who wished to take part in a charitable activity or event. As our profile grew, so did our mandate. Today, the First Responders Charitable Society provides support and guidance to a number of organizations and individuals who wish to seek further operational information relating to charity events. The Society also provides free of charge training in the areas of first aid, disaster management, and critical incident stress management.

I welcome you to my resource network website. If you have any questions, or valuable information that can be added, please feel free to contact me.

Have fun,
